Management Consulting provides one of the best career paths a young professional can take.  It offers a breadth of experience, travel around the world, fast-tracked skill development and a network of diverse and talented individuals.

But getting a job in Management Consulting is no easy task – a large pool of applicants combined with highly selective screening criteria make for a low success rate, particularly at top firms.  This blog draws on my experience as BCG New York’s Recruiting Director to give advice on how to succeed and avoid common pitfalls.
